6 months and GROWING!

Green makes ones heart sing. Ian and Irelyn's session was green and they had all of the adults in the room singing for their attention. The babies enjoyed the attention as we captured some of the smiles they offered. Their personalities came through like shining stars and I look forward to capturing their 9 month milestones!

Irelyn found her toes! Her new discovery is one of my favorites in babies. The awe of toes.

Ned and Lindsay ~ engagement

Thank you Ned and Lindsay for the laughs we shared during your engagement session. Your photographs glow with the love and joy you hold for one another. I look forward to capturing more of that radiance in a few short months.

Ned was the first man I photographed to attempt a "princess" kiss. Mr. Prince Charming accomplished the move with ease :)

Mark and Missy~engagement session

I met Mark and Missy at her Grandfather's farm in Pound. This family homestead is a photographers dream for any photo session during all seasons. The abundant textures and backdrops pop out and scream for a lens with every step, turn or in this case "trip" I've taken. Thank you Missy and Mark! I have had the honor of shooting many of your family members at this location (including you Missy) and it's always a breath of fresh air when I arrive. You are a wonderful couple and I look forward to your wedding day!

This past week I captured Carter's six month portraits. His big brother was a great help. For all of Gavin's (big brother) help the reward was to enjoy some of the chocolates. Next year Carter may know what chocolate is and enjoy a few pieces himself.

His Daddy's a Lions fan and Carter wouldn't look better in any other NFL team apparel. The blue goes perfect with his eyes!

Why did Tigger stick his head in the toilet?....................He was looking for Pooh. This is from my son's joke book he checked out from his school library and I couldn't resist with Tigger as a prop.

Carter you are growing quickly and I enjoy capturing the mile stones of your first year. I'll see you soon! It's amazing how much our little ones learn through the early years of life. It's just as amazing how much we learn from them.
